3 Top Apps to Capture that Perfect Moment on Your Smartphone

PICTURE PAWFECT.

I’ve become one of those. Those who take a million pictures of their new furbaby. Meet Frankie, ReadyTechGo’s newest addition. Frankie arrived on Friday evening, and since then, my camera has been getting an absolute workout!

I’m sure I’m not the only one wanting to capture the perfect moment.

Many of us have kids, grandkids, furbabies or other events where we want to capture those memories. The lighting may not always be perfect, but with the help of a Photo Editing app, you can enhance the photo.

In the image below, you can see the before and after effects of using a Photo Editing App. As it was late at night, the lighting was quite dim.
With this photo, I used ColorStory to:

• Enhance the clarity of the photo
• Increased brightness slightly
• Sharpened the photo

You can take your time to really fine tune an image (I spent less than a minute “editing” the photo above, so it could definitely be enhanced even more)!

	ColorStory Named ‘Best New App’ by Apple! A Color Story focuses on fresh photos and video, bright whites, and colors that pop. There are many filters, effects and free tools.
	Photo Editor by Aviary   Photo Editor by Aviary has many options to optimize your photos for HD (High Definition). You can add filters, frames, stickers and even text to create a “meme”. It also carries tools to help whiten teeth or reduce blemishes.

 

Jargon Buster.

Filter: When you hear the words “filter”, it means applying a software routine to change the appearance of an image or part of the image. You can alter shades and colours, increase brightness, contrast, and more.

HD: HD stands for High Definition. A HD photo produces a 1920×1080 pixel high-definition (HD) quality photo that will perfectly fit a wide-screen HDTV

Meme: An Internet meme (pronounced… MEEM) is an activity, concept, catchphrase, or piece of media that spreads, often as mimicry or for humorous purposes, from person to person via the Internet (Defined by Wikipedia).
