iTunes is Dead?

APPLE IS KILLING ITUNES

Apple is winding down the iconic music platform after 18 years of music downloads, storage, and streaming

Word on the street is that Apple is shutting down iTunes after 18 years of music downloads, storage, and streaming and moving into a new era.

The company is launching three new apps for the Mac – Music, TV, and Podcasts – to replace iTunes. These apps will match the apps currently available on iPads and iPhones. “Without iTunes, customers can manage their Apple gadgets through the Music app.” – Bloomberg.

Some say it’s been a long time coming as iTunes original purpose as a place to listen to and store music has been forgotten due to the rise of Spotify and Apple Music. Most users use iTunes to backup iPads and iPhones!

With the closure of iTunes, many Apple users are wondering how  they are going to manage backups and store data… this function still remains unclear, so we will have watch out for more announcements from Apple!
