Build your digital recipe library

A very common question we receive during our in-home technology lessons is “How do I save a recipe that I found online to my computer?”
Well, if you want to build your digital recipe library, and avoid printing out recipes, here’s how you can save recipes as a PDF document:
On a Windows computer:
1. Visit the website containing the recipe you wish to save
2. Select “Print > PDF”
3. Select “Save as PDF”
4. Give your recipe a name and select “Save”
On a MAC computer or laptop:
1. Visit the website containing the recipe you wish to save
2. Press “Command” and “P” on your keyboard
3. A dialogue box will appear. Select “Open PDF in Preview” from the left hand side menu
4. This will open the recipe – select “File” from the top menu
5. Select “Save As”
6. Give you recipe a name
7. Select “Save“
