How to Buy Discounted Movie Tickets

CHEAPER MOVIE TICKETS? A
YES PLEASE!!!
I remember Tight Tuesdays. $5 movie tickets and cheap pop corn.
My friends and I would look forward to catching up at the movies and enjoy a night out for under $15. Sadly… no longer the case!
The last time I went to the cinemas, I was shocked at the price of an adult ticket – $22!!!! That makes a movie night out for 2 people roughly between $60- $100 (including dinner)!

But there is a way to buy cheaper movie tickets!

Hello Optus and Telstra customers!

OPTUS CUSTOMERS

If you are a Optus customer (with a Optus mobile, landline or internet connection), you can register for Optus Perks – https://www.optusperks.com.au
Optus Perks gives you access to range of discounts including discounted Hoyts movie tickets.
You can go to the movies at the following discounted prices:
Adults – $11.50
Kids – $9.00
Hoyts LUX – $26.00

You do need to book your tickets online via the Optus Perks website to obtain these discounts!

TELSTRA CUSTOMERS

Telstra customers (with a Telstra mobile, landline or internet connection) can get discounted movie tickets with Village Cinemas.

You can go to the movies at the following discounted prices:
Adults – $12.50
3D movies – $15.50
Vmax – $16.50

You do need to book your tickets online via the Telstra Thanks website to obtain these discounts! https://www.telstra.com.au/thanks/movies

IT’S NOT TIGHT TUESDAYS
But a saving is still a saving!

My mobile phone is with Optus, and my landline is with Telstra, so I have registered for both movie perks, and can choose between Hoyts or Village.

Have fun at the movies!
