MORE ADS?

ALREADY FEEL LIKE FACEBOOK IS FULL OF ADS? YOU’RE ABOUT TO SEE MORE

Every time I log into my Facebook Newsfeed, I feel like I see ad after ad after ad.
Where are the photos shared by friends and family? I see these kind of posts once in about 10 (ad related) posts!
It’s annoying.

After Facebook forced us all to download a seperate app to use their Messenger function and chat privately to others, Facebook gave announced that it is testing advertising in this app.

WHAT WILL YOU SEE?

On the home tab of Messenger app, ads will be displayed. This will allow users to click on the ad and be taken to the advertiser’s website.

This move will continue to monetise users across the social network that Facebook owns: Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.

SICK OF ADS?

Me too. The only platform that doesn’t display ads (for now) is WhatsApp… who knows how long that will continue to be ad free though!
