How to Watch Netflix Offline (Without Internet)
HOW TO WATCH NETFLIX ON YOUR PHONE OR TABLET WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION
PREPARE FOR A LONG FLIGHT THE RIGHT WAY
Whether it’s a long plane trip, car trip or even just going away and not being sure you’ll have an internet connection sometimes you want to be sure you’ll have some entertainment. Netflix thankfully is here to save the day!
Netflix added the ability to store some (but unfortunately not all) of it’s content offline on your device for when you don’t have access to the internet. Note that you’ll want to set all of this up before you leave on your trip, while you still have internet.
1.) Download the Netflix app onto your smartphone or tablet: This feature is only available on the Netflix app on your device so make sure you’re on the app and not netflix.com in your internet browser.
2.) Tap the menu button on the top-left side of the screen: The menu button will look like 3 horizontal lines on top of one another
3.) Now tap “Availble for Download”: From here you’ll see a list of every show or movie that can be downloaded for offline viewing. You may have to search through some junk to get to the good stuff!
Alternatively you can search for content and in that movie or TV shows description, if there is a down-facing arrow (the download symbol) you can download that particular content for offline use!
4.) Make sure you’re connected to WiFi before downloading! A lot of downloading on your mobile phone plan could end up costing you a lot of data and money so make sure you’re connected to your WiFi before downloading.
5.) Download what you want to watch!
6.) When you’re ready to watch: Simply navigate back to the menu and click “My Downloads” and your downloaded content will appear there.
